Job Title:	Rehab Counselor
Job Location:	BALTIMORE, MD
RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING CLIENT ACTIVITIES DESIGNED FOR ELDERS WITH SERIOUS AND PERSISTENT MENTAL ILLNESS WITH A FOCUS ON WELLNESS, LIFE REVIEW AND COMMUNITY INTEGRATION.  PROVIDE DAILY REHABILITATION TO ASSIST THEM IN THEIR EFFORTS TO MAINTAIN OR IMPROVE ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, CURRENT LEVELS OF INTERDEPENDENCE, DEVELOPMENT OF HOBBIES/LEISURE SKILLS, HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUES.
Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in mental health field preferred and/or three years equivalent work experience in substance abuse services. Skill Requirement: Two to three months OJT required for efficient job performance. Job Requirements: Must have a valid drivers license. Must have a clean driving record. Must have a physical Must have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision Knowledge of chronic mental illness and substance abuse is necessary
